Wheeler Farm

Recently, I have been watching this little boy, Ryan, and today I took them to play at Wheeler Farm. My mom had the day off, so she was able to join us. It was a lot of fun to see all the baby animals. I love spring!

After we ate our picnic lunches, we found this goose wandering around with a gimp wing. It didn't seem scared of us at all and he was eyeing our left over sandwiches. We started out throwing bread to it, but it kept coming closer. Eventually it was eating right out of our hands.

Brayden vs the Sidewalk

My son is so top heavy. His head probably outweighs the rest of his body, so he has a hard time keeping his feet underneath him.He ate it while running outside today and the sidewalk attacked his nose and forehead. Poor little guy!

Communicating

This is one of my favorite recording of Brayden so far. After his bath this evening he was making all sorts of noises. Once this one showed up Craig and I couldn't stop laughing. Kids know when they are being funny so he kept doing it long enough for us to record it. It's hilarious!

Tattoo-Part 2

I went back to Big Deluxe today to work on my tattoo again. Today, Bart colored in the flower. It looks awesome! I had no idea what kind of things you can do with color and shading to make such beautiful pieces of art. After this I think I only have one more visit to do some shading around the outside. I'm getting so close to having this done.

Brayden's First Twinkie

Now that Brayden is almost 2 we don't get very many firsts with him anymore. Still, today was the first time Brayden got to eat a Twinkie. I think he enjoyed it.

Kelsi's First Tattoo

One of the things that we did with our tax returns this year was to buy both Craig and I a new tattoo. Last week, Craig went in to Big Deluxe to get his armband done. While we were waiting for the artist, I was looking through some books showcasing the other artists' work and I fell in love. The idea for my tattoo was finally solidified. I went and talked to the artist, Bart, right then and set up an appointment for today to begin work on mine. I'm not going to lie, I was extremely nervous, but I still showed up.

Above shows the outline of my future tattoo. This is my last chance to chicken out before he started work. I still loved it, so below is now what the left side of my back looks like. It really hurt, but I'm looking forward to adding all the color and shading to really make it impressive.
