My First Christmas on My Own

 I've never had to worry about decorating for Christmas before since I was living with my parents. They took care of everything. Now that I'm on my own, it's all up to me. I was surprised at how much fun it was. Since I'm only renting a room in Sugarhouse, Craig let me decorate his place. He loves really Christmas trees, so we picked one out and decorated it the best we could.

What do you think? I think we did a pretty good job! We then started a challenge to see who could get the other more gifts. We even picked out our own wrapping paper so it was easier to tell who was winning. The gifts for me are red and the gifts for him are blue. I think I totally won. Christmas morning was great. It was nice to have someone to share it with who was so determined to spoil me. I love you, Craig! Merry Christmas!

Capizzi Christmas Party

Phil and Sharon were kind enough to invite me to their family Christmas party this year. Craig and I were at a party at my mom's parent's home the night before, so we slept over at Phil's and then spent the day helping prep for the party.

Every year, Phil and Sharon have every member of the family write down their gift to Jesus on a small piece of paper and then they read it the next year. When the asked me to join in, I foolishly said that I wouldn't be there next year so why bother. Oops...

Festival of Trees

I absolutely love going to the Festival of Trees. People are so creative! Well, Craig took me to the Festival of Trees this year. It was so beautiful. I loved them all, but these two were just too cool to leave to memory. I had to get pictures.
