President's Day at Chuck E. Cheese

Craig didn't have work on President's Day, so we took Brayden to Chuck E. Cheese. That was where I celebrated a birthday when I was younger and I was excited to take my son there. Eventually, Kira, Travis, and my mother joined us.

Overall, I was really disappointed. It was wildly expensive and they seriously downsized the jungle gym which was my favorite part. None of this stopped Brayden from having a blast! We spent almost four hours playing the different arcade games. At one point, it looked like Craig and Travis were having as much fun as Brayden. I'm glad we experienced it one more time, but I don't think I'll be going back there any time soon.

When we got back to my parents' house after, we took a few pictures of Brayden goofing around. We didn't get a single picture with Brayden's eyes open.

Craig was determined to get at least one picture with his eyes open and this was the only way to get it done.

But it didn't last. He went right back to his awkward squint. Oh well. We tried.

Brayden's First Goatee

Craig made Brayden a chocolate ice cream cone for dessert tonight and it looks like Brayden really enjoyed it. Craig about died laughing when he saw his son's first "goatee".
