Random Pictures from March '09

Taken Monday the 23rd: While we were wandering through Sam's Club, Brayden was playing with his hands. It looked like he was signing for the west side.

Also taken Monday the 23rd: My mom had two foreign exchange girls from Japan staying with her. She had us take the girls swimming at the Rec. Center.

Taken Wednesday the 25th: My friend, Deana, has Wednesday's off from her job, so she watches a friends baby that day. Today, we got the kids together and went shopping. This picture is memorable because me playing around with this hat got a talent agent to approach me. She gave me here card and asked if I would come in for a meeting with her boss. The meeting was a lot of fun, but they wanted we to sign up for expensive acting classes. That's not really what I'm looking for right now, but it was still a fun experience.

Taken Saturday the 28th: I love it when Brayden wears clothes that match with Craig. I took it a step further today and put Brayden in Craig's hoodie. So adorable!

Taken Monday the 30th: Brayden was playing with his toys in his crib while I was cleaning up. Next thing I know, I look over and he is completely passed out. Apparently he was tired.

Birthday Bash for Miss Japan

One of my mom's Japanese exchanged students had a birthday while she was staying with us. We had to celebrate, so we baked her a cake and everyone sang "Happy Birthday".

Once we had finished up with cake and ice cream, the girls brought out a surprise. I feel a little foolish that I don't know what these dresses are called, but I know they are totally authentic. They came straight from Japan.

The girls were so cute as they went around getting us all dressed up. I haven't had someone help me get dressed like that since my wedding.

It was a really neat experience. I didn't want to have to change back into my boring clothes. Someday I would love to own a dress like this.

We finished off the night with a little bit of Guitar Hero. I've been to a birthday party quite like this before, but I had a blast!

Twister

I don't believe that you can ever get too old to play Twister. One of the evening that the Japanese exchange students were here, we broke out the game. It made for a really fun evening. The boys did a great job. They were rather competitive which was amusing to watch.

The girls had a lot of fun watching us, but once the boys had determined a winner, then it was our turn to play. That mat doesn't seem big enough for all four of us.

Phil's Birthday

Phil's birthday was last week, so we drove up to Clearfield to celebrate. We had a lot of fun hanging out with the family. The picture below of Brayden makes it obvious that the kid needs a haircut though.

Playing at Aunt Jill's

While we were over at Jill's house, Brayden found a car in the backyard that he fell in love with. He didn't like it at all when it was time to leave.

Sleepover at the Jewett's

Travis invited Kira, Craig, Brayden and me to spend the night at his parents' house in Logan. Their house is beautiful! And their basement was so cool. The theater in the basement was completely devoted to pirates. It was great!
