Brayden's 12th Week

Taken Friday the 25th: I sent this picture to Craig while he was at work. It was our way of saying, "Good Morning!"

Also taken Friday the 25th: While we were over at my parents' house, my mom had Brayden try on the tux that my brother, Dean wore when he was blessed. He was so handsome, even though he wasn't really a fan of the outfit.

These last two were taken on Wednesday the 30th. That means that my baby is officially 12 weeks old today. To celebrate, we did laundry.

Brayden's 11th Week

More of my favorite pictures from Brayden's 11th week with us.

Taken Thursday the 17th: Such a sad little face.

Taken Friday the 18th: and then such a happy little face.

Also taken Friday the 18th: He looks so sleepy.

Taken Saturday the 19th: Does Grandpa Furse know that Brayden has made a mess of his arm yet?

Taken Sunday the 20th: We put a soda pop lid on Brayden's forehead and his eyes got really big. Absolutely adorable!

Also taken Sunday the 20th: Brayden was laying on the floor at my parents' house and we were laying across from him, looking at him. This is what we saw...

...and this is what he saw.

Taken Monday the 21st: While I was getting Brayden ready for bed, it looked like he was wearing a turban, so we took a picture.

NASCAR #17

Since the day I met Craig, he has always been a fan of NASCAR and his favorite driver is #17. I don't know exactly where he ran into this, but this is his driver's car. How cool is that? He took a ton of pictures, but I only added my favorites.

It doesn't look like there is nearly enough room in there for a grown man. And if they do get him in, it doesn't look like it would be very comfortable.

Lightening McQueen wasn't kidding when he said that racecars only have stickers for headlights. Thanks Craig for taking pictures so you could share this with me. I love you, Baby!

Hike to Donut Falls

My mom and sister, Haylie, invited us to go on a hike with them up to Donut Falls. It is a relatively easy hike and the falls at the end are gorgeous.

Craig was a sport and carried Bradyen all the way up in this nifty little pack that goes on your front. Brayden spent the entire trip there and back with sleeping or licking Craig's shirt.

Once we made it to the falls, we stopped for a snack before we hiked to the top.

My mom was sweet enough to hold the baby while Craig and I went exploring. That cold water feels excellent on your feet after hiking in the hot sun.

Brayden's 10th Week

Taken Sunday the 13th: Brayden looks so tiny next to his daddy.

Taken Monday the 14th: He has the best smile. I really have a wonderful little boy.

Tickle Time

Craig has a special touch with babies when it comes to tickling. No matter the situation or age, it seems like he can get them to laugh. It is adorable! Brayden isn't quite laughing yet, but he's really close.

Goodbye UVSC. Welcome UVU.

Craig's old landlords invited us to join them at a community party celebrating Utah Valley State College becoming a University. There were some really great performers and some really awesome fireworks.

The worst part about the evening was waiting for the party to start. We were sitting on the baseball field at what is now Utah Vally University, so there was no shade. It was so hot. We brought Brayden with us, so we got really creative when it came to keeping him cool. First we created some shade with some of his blankets and then we stripped him down and put a wet cloth over him.

He was comfortable enough to sleep, but we were pretty miserable. It's a good thing that the entertainment made it all worth it.
Congratulations, UVU!
